How to change the desktop theme in Windows Vista?

Themes provide users a different look and feel. You can change a theme by a single click from your mouse. Windows Vista includes two themes namely Windows Vista and Windows Classic. Windows Vista theme gives you a new look and Windows Classic theme gives a look that is similar to earlier versions of Windows. You may also add themes that are developed by software companies. To change the desktop theme, perform the following steps:

1. Click Start button , click Control Panel.
2. Click Appearance and Personalization.

3. Click Personalization.

4. Click Theme.

5. From the Theme Settings dialog box, under Theme:, select the theme and click on OK.

Shortcut

The result of the first three steps can be achieved by right-clicking on an empty space on the desktop and clicking on Personalize.
