Switch between Windows icon missing from the Quick Launch toolbar in Windows Vista

The Switch between Windows button on the Quick Launch toolbar is enabled by a file called Window Switcher.lnk in the Quick Launch directory. The original file is located in the %systemdrive%\Users\Default\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch directory. You have to copy it and paste inside the %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch directory. Seems little complicated right. For performing it with ease, perform the following steps:
1. Click Start button , type Run in the Start Search field. Copy and paste the following in the Run dialog box.
%systemdrive%\Users\Default\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch
This will open the window with Show desktop and Switch between windows icons. This window is the source window.
2. Now, click on Start button , type Run in the Start Search field. Copy and paste the following in the Run dialog box.
%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch
This will open a window that will have all the icons that is present in the Quick Launch toolbar. This is the destination window where in you have to place the Switch between windows icon.
3. From the source window, right-click on the Switch between windows icon and click on Copy.
4. Go to the destination window. Right click on an empty space and click on Paste. You should see the Switch between windows icon in that window and also in the Quick Launch toolbar.
