Change the Start menu to Classic view in Windows Vista

In Windows Vista, you have two views of the Start menu.
1. Start menu.
2. Classic Start menu (This menu style gives you the look and functionality of previous versions of Windows like Windows 98, Windows 2000).
By default, Windows Vista displays the Start menu style. To change to the Classic view, perform the following steps:

1. Click Start button , click Control Panel.
2. Click Appearance and Personalization.

3. Click Taskbar and Start Menu to open Taskbar and Start Menu Properties dialog box.

4. Click the Start Menu tab and then click the Classic Start menu radio button.
5. Click OK to close the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties dialog box.
