Pin a program to the Start menu in Windows Vista

If you use a program regularly and need that program to be present in the Start menu so that you open it up by clicking on the Start menu and then the program icon. You can do this by pinning the program to the Start menu.
If the program that needs to be pinned appears in the Start menu then you may right-click on the program and click on the "Pin to Start Menu" option. You may also drag-and-drop the program just above the horizontal line. If the program does not appear by clicking on the Start button but instead is located at some other place in your computer then you may right-click on the program and click on the "Pin to Start Menu" option. The following figure shows all the three possibilities.
