Run button missing from Start menu. How to add Run button to Start menu?

In Windows Vista, you may see the Run button by clicking Start, All Programs, Accessories. You may also add the Run button to the Start menu and when you add the Run button, it will appear to the right side of the Start menu. Perform the following steps to add the Run button to the Start menu.

1. Click Start button , click Control Panel.
2. Click Appearance and Personalization.

3. Click Taskbar and Start Menu to open Taskbar and Start Menu Properties dialog box.

4. Click on the Start Menu tab and then click on Customize...

5. From the Customize Start Menu dialog box that opens, scroll the list and click to place a check mark to Run command.
6. Click OK to close the Customize Start Menu dialog box.
7.Click OK again to close the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties box.


Now, you may click on Start button to see the Run command.
