Clear recent items from the Start menu in Windows Vista

When you open a file (e.g., a Notepad file, music file, Word document, Excel Spreadsheet, or any other file), the entries will be seen in the Recent Items list. You can clear these entries by clicking on the Start button , right-clicking on Recent Items, and then clicking on the Clear Recent Items List.
Please note that clearing the recent items will not remove the actual files.
